Highlight color in Xcode

Thanks for the public beta for Xcode 8)

I'm using a dark color scheme, with white text, and the current highlight color (yellow) shows very little contrast.

Is there any way to change that ?

1. I found here a pot about the let command, that it is not supported. The post was made in 2006. I'm curious if there were made any changes in that regard. Or is there any support for loading macros from the .viemurc file.

2. I like to use vim & I like to use Intellisense's auto complete, but if I have to move my hand to the arrow keys from the home row to press some "down" arrows that's just awful. For me it comes that i'd like to select the auto complete text with pressing "j" a few time. (the main obvious problem is that I can't type the letter "j" in that case ofc ... even tho i'd be able to live with that.) Any workaround / solution for that?

I've recently discovered that vim has the incredibly useful ability to wrap blocks of text using quotes and many varieties of bracket but unfortunately this functionality doesn't seem to have been impelented in viemu which is a shame because it's actually very useful. Installing with VS2010 and VS2012

I've had ViEmu on VS2010 for quite a while now and recently installed VS2012 as well. Downloaded the latest and installed to get it working on VS2012, which worked perfectly. However now ViEmu is no longer installed for VS2010 as far as I can tell. Re-installation didn't work (installed for everything).

Any thoughts? I still need VS2010 for the most part.

Move to last position not behaving as expected

The '' key combo is not behaving as I would expect. For example, I would expect gg=G'' to reindent an entire file and then return the cursor to its previous location, as it does in vim, but instead it returns the cursor to the first line of the file.

ViEmu uninstall leaves behind stuff

After uninstalling ViEmu, I found that it left behind some stuff in the Font and Color settings:

Not sure what else it may have left behind, but it clearly wasn't a clean uninstall. Just wanted to bring that to your attention.

Recursive Macro Hangs ViEmu (3.0.6) for Sql Server

When I record and execute recursive macros, such as the one below, SSMS hangs and must be restarted.

What I'd expect this to do, as it does in vim, prepend every line with an apostrophe and add an apostrophe and comma to the end of every line.

Undo Jump

Hi,

Whenever I undo using ViEmu, the cursor jumps to some previous line for some reason. Sometimes the jumps are huge. This makes it very hard to follow what is being 'undo'ed, so much so that I end up using Visual Studio's undo (which can sometimes require quite a few undos).

I am using Visual Studio 2008 and as far as I can tell this does not happen on Visual Studio 2010. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?

ViEmu version I am using: 3.0.6

Move by camelCase word

I like having the ability to move by camelCase word. So I have the following mapping, which works fairly well:

map ?\\L
map /\\L

However, there appears to be a bug when I use it in combination with the 'd' command. d works great but d leaves the cursor in the wrong position. The cursor shouldn't move but instead it appears to move forward the length of the word that was just deleted. When I try executing the commands directly instead of using the mapping it works fine.

Mapping to a visual-studio / resharper command for insert mode only

Is it possible to map a key combination to a visual studio / resharper command directly in insert mode? The only way I'm aware of for doing this is to go into command mode, then use the : vsc command. I'm guessing this isn't possible.

I just ask because there are a few cases where this would be useful. For example, you could preserve the behaviour of CTRL+A / CTRL+C / CTRL+V / CONTRL+X in insert mode without giving up their classic vim usage in normal mode.

Delete key doesn't work in insert mode

I'm finding that pressing delete doesn't do anything in insert mode. Is this a known issue? I tried mapping it myself using imap ~~but that didn't work either~~

Applying an ex command to all files in solution

Is there a way to use ViEmu to apply an ex command to all files within a visual studio solution? For example a simple substitution command. What about all open files?

Yank does not remove highlight

I am using ViEmu 3.0.10 and Visual Studio 2010.

1. I highlight some text by selecting vjjj
2. I copy the text by pressing y
3. I move my cursor to someplace else in the file
4. I hit cw to change a word and type some text
5. The text that was highlighted in step 1 gets replaced with the first letter I type and the word I am intending to change gets replaced by the remainder of the text.

Fortunately undo undoes this problem but it took me three or four times of doing this before I realized what was going on. Now, when I copy some text by highlighting it first, I have to remember to hit my escape key to "unhighlight" it before I do anything else.
