[ UPDATE: This version is superseded by 1.4.5-a-9, see http://forums.ngedit.com/viewtopic.php?id=36 ] [May 27]

I have just uploaded version 1.4.5-alpha-8. It solves a long standing problem that I've finally been able to nail down: now when undoing/redoing a deletion (either done via 'x', via 'dw' or via some fasion of the ':d' command), and some other operations such as a line join, the cursor and the scrolling position will go there. It was a very annoying problem that has been pretty hard to track down & convince Visual Studio to cooperate.

You can download the new version here:

 http://www.viemu.com/ViEmu145a8.msi

It is necessary to manually uninstall 1.4.4 or 1.4.5-alpha-x versions before installing this one.

If this looks to be working right after a few days, I will be officially releasing 1.4.5 with all the last updates, especially given this last fix solves a quite annoying problem.

On the other hand, the new vi/vim core is working fine (with many new improvents in "low level" vi/vim emulation features), and I'll start implementing the exclusively new features of ViEmu 2.0 this week. It will be a free upgrade to existing customers. I'll notify when beta versions are ready here, in the forum.
