1.- There still seems to be an annoying bug I run into frequently - when on a close-curly brace, if you hit ‘i’ or ‘a’ to enter Insert mode, you get a list of autocompletions even though you haven’t typed anything. This only happens when you have Visual Assist installed (I’m using VA 1833 and ViEMU 2.5.10) and enabled.  This happens during other occurences as well, but the brace is the best example, I've found.

2.- Is there a reason why the newest release isn’t linked off the main download page?
