Thanks for the quick answer. We are in the process of upgrading to VS 2005 so I will look forward to enjoying ViEmu then. At that time I will beg you to extend my trial period so that I may test it prior to buying :-)

Meanwhile I will suffer with the horrible default editor, cursing every time I type a vi command by mistake

Unfortunately, ViEmu doesn't support Visual Studio 6. It only supports VS.NET 2002, VS.NET 2003 and VS2005. The extensibility model of VS6 is different and incompatible with the one in the later IDEs (it was completely redesigned and re-implemented), so retrofitting it is not in the current plans.

Hi,

On my computer I have both Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio 2005. I downloaded and installed ViEmu, but it appears to be only in Visual Studio 2005. How can I install it in Visual Studio 6 as well?
