Re: ViEmu 2010 and Resharper File Templates

Hi,

I'm having an issue when trying to create a new file from a Resharper File Template.

The R# file templates allow you to define a template with placeholders (e.g. $CLASSNAME$), which you can then replace when creating a new file from the template.

The problem I'm having is that when I create a new file, ViEmu starts in VISUAL mode, which means I have to press the Esc key (and then i) to go to editing mode. However, pressing the Esc key also causes Resharper to think I'm done editing the placeholders, which means that my file ends up not having any of the placeholders replaced (which nullifies the point of using templates.)

This used to work fine in ViEmu 2008 (I've only just upgraded to 2010) - is there any chance this could get looked into?

Many thanks for an otherwise great product!

Nick

Hi, Nick

Thanks for the info, we'll look into this and get back to you, hopefully with a fix for the issue.
