Topic: ViEmu 2010 100% CPU usage with the AnkhSvn plugin

I'm having the following issue with ViEmu 2010 (which didn't occur with ViEmu for VS2008) when focusing on the commit message editor in the AnkhSvn plugin:

* when I focus on the commit message editor window, ViEmu is in command mode
* I then press 'i' to go to insert mode, and enter my commit message
* if I accidentally press 'Esc', Visual Studio uses 100% CPU and I have to force-quit.

This can also happen if I start editing a commit message (i.e. ViEmu is in insert mode), then do something else (e.g. look at one of the files I want to commit), then focus back on the commit message editor window.

Not a huge issue - it doesn't cause me any problems so long as I remember not to hit 'Esc' in the Ankh commit message editor window (but I forget around once a week :-)

Thanks,
Nick

PS I forgot to mention how great ViEmu is smile

Thanks for the report, Nick, and for the compliments! We'll take a look at this and get back to you.

Just a quick note to let you know I no longer experience this issue. I've since upgraded ViEmu, but I'm afraid I don't remember if there was a correlation.

This was actually an AnkhSvn issue.  They fixed it in version AnkhSVN 2.1.10019.

I also had this issue, and after the upgrade it didn't happen again.
